Warranty:
Southeastern Auto Works, Inc. hereby provides a Limited Warranty on the repairs performed by our center. This Limited Warranty is valid for as long as you own the vehicle stated herein and is for the person to whom this Limited Warranty is granted and whose name appears herein and on the original work order. This is a three part Limited Warranty with stipulations pertaining to each fragmented part is stated hereafter.
1. Work: Our center provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all metalwork which includes welding and the application of the materials utilized in the making of the collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration excluding rust repairs. Our center will repair and repaint excluding rust or fiberglass repairs on any metalwork warranted hereby at its option when a claim is made while the present owner stated herein owns the vehicle, unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle.
2. Painting, Stripes and Decals: Our center provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty on paint and primer work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing and excessive loss of pigmentation, and a Lifetime Limited Warranty on application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals excluding those defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle is exposed. Our center will repair the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted herein (excluding rust or fiberglass repairs), at its sole option when a claim is made while the present owner stated herein owns the vehicle unless caused by or damaged resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle. The paint warranty is only valid over the original factory finishes that are free of defect.
3. Mechanical Repairs: Our center provides a 12/12 Limited Warranty on all mechanical repairs. (excluding parts that are supplied by the vehicles owner) Our center will repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby at its sole option when a claim is made within 12 months or 12,000 miles of the effective date stated herein unless caused by damage resulting from unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle.
This Limited Warranty shall be null and void if the repair is altered, adjusted or tampered with by any person not authorized by Southeastern Auto Works, Inc.. This Warranty is not transferable.
Exclusion: Incidental costs such as towing fees, car rentals, travel expenses, etc.
There is no warranty associated with rusted or fiberglass materials that are not properly repaired. It is our recommendation that rusted parts be sandblasted, replaced and/or properly coated prior to paint to ensure that no rust comes back though the paint in the future.
There is no warranty associated with body or prep work performed outside of Southeastern Auto Works, Inc.
Please be aware of the following: Acid rain, bird waste and tree sap, which are also highly acidic and the harmful UV rays from the sun, oxygen in the air and other industrial pollutants are contaminants that destroy the clear coat paint finish on your vehicle resulting in permanent water spotting, blemishes, oxidation, fading and loss of gloss.
Your vehicle’s paint warranty does not cover any damage as a result of environmental effect, or any mechanical damages such as road chips, or small scratches resulted during washing and cleaning your vehicle. What is covered is only workmanship and the quality of the paint work.
Please be advised that panel painting on vehicles does not guarantee a color match. We recommend that adjacent panels be blended for correct color matching. There is no guarantee in color match with "new" versus "old" paint.
