The owners of Southeastern Auto Works, Inc., Brandon and Amanda Hartness, had the honor of accompanying this vehicle to the 2010 Barrett Jackson Auction in Las Vegas September 23-25.
The 1 of 1 1970 Shelby GT500 brought $100K which was a fair price in the present economy. The Shelby was definitively the talk of the auction with thousands of spectators and bidders stopping by to take long looks at this amazing vehicle! The vehicle received high praise overall and the announcers made numerous positive comments about the paint work! The Shelby was also chosen from hundreds of cars to be used in various marketing material for the auction.
It was our honor and privilege to have the rare opportunity to work on such an amazing vehicle and to be a part of restoring a great piece of American history.
